Ceramic, Christmas snowflake driftwood hanger, Hand made in Yorkshire.

My Driftwood Christmas decorations are all made by hand as a one off piece of art. This particular piece is decorated with natural twine and red string. The snowflake is made by hand from stoneware clay with a pretty white glaze to lighten your home at Christmas.

They can be hung around your home on a wall or hung freely amongst Christmas decorations.

At Christmas hang it on your tree as a festive decoration. They are so versatile they can be used all year round.

Approx size:- 15 x 20cm.

This includes the ceramic snowflake and twine hanger.

I believe there is something very unique and special about a hand-made product. There is an obvious difference between hand-made and mass produced ceramics. Each piece I make is hand-made and made with love.

I work from my studio in Huddersfield where I create one-off, bespoke pottery. My work is predominantly non-functional and is created for the home or garden. Alongside my pottery I make hand-made ceramic cards, pictures and ceramic jewellery.

My inspirations come from the natural world such as organic pods, exotic fruits, trees, animals, coral reefs and nature itself. I am fascinated in discovering the textural quality of such forms and developing this into my work. I like to allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the naked eye.
