Decorated Candle Hedgehog In Snow Winter Christmas Decoupage Unusual 18cms

I have decorated this large, unscented cream candle with a beautiful (paper napkin) image of a hedgehog snuffling his way through the snow.

The image has been part ‘wrapped’ around the candle, and a small image of nuts, leaves and berries has been applied into the space between the two edges of the hedgehog image, so that there is something to see from all angles, e.g., if this candle is a centrepiece on the table.

The browns and oranges of the images give an Autumnal feel, but the snow gives it a wintry edge. The napkin decoupage gives the images a depth and a lovely, textured feel to the touch.

I have packaged the candle and added a raffia tie so that it might be given as a gift.

The candle is 180mm x 100mm (7” tall x 4”) and should burn for around 130 hours.

As the image has been fixed with a liquid wax glue it can be lit BUT please do follow all normal candle safety rules when doing so, including placing the candle on a fireproof dish/holder, out of the reach of children or anything flammable, and never leaving a candle unattended.
