There is still wonder in gazing at a starlit sky just as there was on that Christmas long ago and this beautiful beaded dragonfly is doing just that!
The Christmas wreath, made up of hand-cut holly leaves from recycled greetings cards, combines the deep shades of a night sky with soft pinks and purples from the cluster of buildings in Bethlehem to the star decoration on the top of the tree. All stitched together with a fawn paper cord and finished with a trio of red crackle glass holly berry beads.
The dragonfly is made up of mostly new but also with some recycled acrylic, glass and metal beads, again in shades of pink and purple with gold. The acetate wings have a printed vein pattern. A scattering of pink sequins surround the dragonfly and in the four corners of the frame natural mother-of-pearl buttons add their own lustre. Everything is mounted on a printed pink watercolour-effect paper.
The black box frame is 32cm square and 3.3cm deep with a hanging hook on the back. This unique artwork is destined to become a treasured part of your Christmas decor or would make a special gift for any dragonfly lover.
UK postage is included in the price.
