White Glass Icicles With Christmas Trees

We’ve made these lovely Christmas decorations from beach glass and Christmas tree charms. Two of the pieces of tumbled glass have come from old bottles, so are gently curved. The other one has a slight ribbing, which suggests it’s come from domestic glass ware such as a plate. The charms are enamel on gold coloured metal, and look fabulous against the snowy white glass which picks up the light beautifully. These decorations would look wonderful against lots of backgrounds, especially a dark Christmas tree.

The largest decoration is approx. 8.5 cm high, 2.5 cm wide and 3 mm thick. They each have a short gold cord.

Our Christmas hangers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each hanger is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.

The hangers will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
